Blackwin OS is a free Windows-based operating system that is designed for digital forensics and penetration testing. It is created by Ebrahim Shafiei (EbraSha) and based on Windows 10. It comes with over 600 preinstalled tools that cover various aspects of hacking and security testing, such as web application analysis, network analysis, password cracking, reverse engineering, malware analysis, wireless hacking, social engineering, and more.

Some of the benefits of using Blackwin OS are:

  • It is compatible with most Windows applications and drivers, so you don't need to worry about compatibility issues or hardware support.

  • It is easy to install and use, as it has a familiar Windows interface and a simple installation process.

  • It is lightweight and efficient, as it uses minimal system resources and runs fast.

  • It is updated regularly with the latest tools and security patches, so you can always have the most stable and secure version of Blackwin.

  • It is anonymous and secure, as it has built-in features that protect your privacy and identity online.

To download Blackwin OS, you need to visit its official website and choose the version that suits your needs. There are two versions available: Lite and Full. The Lite version has fewer tools and features than the Full version, but it is smaller in size and faster to download. The Full version has more tools and features than the Lite version, but it is larger in size and slower to download. • Prepare a USB drive with at least 8 GB of free space. You will use this USB drive to create a bootable media with Blackwin ISO file.

  • Download Rufus , a free tool that allows you to create bootable USB drives easily.

  • Run Rufus on your Windows machine and select the following options: - Device: your USB drive - Boot selection: the Blackwin ISO file that you downloaded - Partition scheme: MBR - Target system: BIOS or UEFI - File system: FAT32 - Cluster size: 4096 bytes - Volume label: BLACKWIN - Check the options "Create a bootable disk using ISO image" and "Quick format" - Click "START" and wait for the process to finish.

  • Restart your computer and enter the BIOS or UEFI settings. You can do this by pressing a specific key (such as F2, F10, F12, or DEL) during the boot process. The key may vary depending on your computer model and manufacturer, so check your manual or online documentation for more details.

  • Change the boot order to make your USB drive the first boot option. Save the changes and exit the BIOS or UEFI settings.

  • Boot from the USB drive and select "Blackwin OS" from the menu. You will see a welcome screen with some options to choose from. You can either try Blackwin without installing it (Live mode) or install it on your hard drive (Install mode). We recommend that you try Blackwin first before installing it, so you can test its functionality and compatibility with your system.

  • If you choose to install Blackwin, you will be guided through a simple installation wizard that will ask you some questions, such as your language, keyboard layout, time zone, username, password, and disk partitioning. You can either use the default settings or customize them according to your preferences and needs. Be careful when partitioning your disk, as you might lose some data if you do it incorrectly. We suggest that you create a separate partition for Blackwin and leave some free space for Windows.

  • After completing the installation wizard, you will be asked to restart your computer. Do so and remove the USB drive. You will see a boot menu that allows you to choose between Windows or Blackwin. Select Blackwin and enter your username and password to log in.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed Blackwin in Windows using dual booting. You can now enjoy using Blackwin for hacking and security testing purposes.
