One of the assets of his relatively small stature is his mobility and athleticism behind the plate. This gives him the potential to be a solid defensive catcher, although he could use a little improvement as he allowed 29 passed balls in 131 collegiate games. He will need to learn better technique in the Cardinals organization so that he can better handle pitches in the dirt. However, because of his athleticism, there is a chance that he can correct his technique. He also improved his ability to throw out potential base stealers as he matured. His caught stealing rate rose from 25% as a freshman to 39% as a junior, and he was at 57% before the 2020 season was cancelled.
The Ontario, Canada native pitched his first two collegiate seasons at Central Arizona Community College. Trogrlic-Iverson was a reliever as a freshman, pitching in 24 games, and moved to the rotation as a sophomore. Combined, he logged a 2.61 ERA, striking out 131 and walking 44 in 124 innings.
In his junior season in 2019, he was a swingman, making seven starts and 19 relief appearances for the Zags. He totaled 41 strikeouts and 22 walks in 67 2/3 innings with a 5.05 ERA. In the truncated spring of 2020, Trogrlic-Iverson showed improvement in his four starts, with a 3.80 ERA. He fanned 20 and issued just three free passes in 21 1/3 innings.
Trogrlic-Iverson has been a teammate of Mac Lardner, another undrafted free agent signee of the Cardinals. However, unlike Lardner, Trogrlic-Iverson does not have a strong track record of collegiate success once he transferred to Gonzaga.

Abstract: Featured ApplicationRehabilitation for People with Type 2 Diabetes. AbstractThe objective of this study was to assess the effects of an active video game (AVG) program in physiological parameters, fitness levels, motivation to physical activity, and quality of life on people with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Eight T2D patients participated in the 8-week AVG program using Xbox Kinect and/or Nintendo Wii. Heart rate (HR) and rating of perceived exertion (RPE) were monitored during exercise. Physiological and fitness assessment included hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c), HR, blood pressure (BP), body mass index, body composition, aerobic and muscular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. Psychological outcome measures included the Physical Activity Measure-Revised (MPAM-R), Situational Motivation Scale (SIMS), and World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL)-BREF. Participants demonstrated a moderate level of exercise intensity during AVG based on average HR and RPE. HbA1c, BP, and lower extremity muscle strength were improved, but were not statistically significant. The changes on psychological assessment were not significant. However, most participants demonstrated positive behavior and attitudes toward health and physical activity at one-month follow-up. This pilot study demonstrated that the AVG program might be an effective and alternative way of exercise for people with T2D. Carter, a 6-3, 190-pound guard, ranked fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 9.0 ppg. He started seven of the 29 games he played. Carter led the team in free throws made (75) and attempted (107). He scored 15 or more points seven times and notched a career-high 22 points versus Army on December 22. He also averaged 3.8 rebounds per game. Coming out of Brewster Academy in 2021, Carter was rated as a four-star prospect, according to ESPN.com, Rivals.com and 247Sports.com. In his final season of high school competition, he averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists. In July of 2021, he helped Team Final capture the prestigious Peach Jam title by scoring 12 points, dishing off five assists and grabbing four rebounds in the championship game. Hopkins, a 6-6, 220-pound forward, saw action in 28 games for the Wildcats. He scored a career best 13 points as he was 5-6 from the field in 16 minutes of action versus LSU on February 23. He graduated from Fenwick High School in 2021. Hopkins was a consensus four-star prospect, who was ranked No. 33 by ESPN.com, and No. 39 by Rivals.com and by 247Sports. He was named the 2021 Illinois Player of the Year by MaxPreps. Hopkins was named to the Jordan Brand Classic roster and he also was selected to participate in the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic. Other honors he earned in high school included being named a two-time Chicago League Player of the Year, MVP of the Catholic League and Chicago Land Prep Hoops All-State First Team.
Locke played his first three seasons at the University of Florida before transferring to Louisville for the 2021-22 season. He will come to Providence as a graduate transfer and he will be eligible to play in 2022-23. Locke is a 6-3, 205-pound guard. In three seasons at Florida, he averaged 10.1 points per game and he shot 40.3 percent from three-point territory in 92 career games. Locke finished his time at Florida ranked ninth all-time for the Gators with 217 career three-point field goals and eighth all-time in three-point field goal attempts with 538. He set a Florida freshman record with 81 made three-pointers and averaged 2.36 made three-pointers per game over his career. Locke registered 933 points in 92 games at Florida. In his lone season at Louisville, he led the Cardinals in scoring (9.6 ppg), three-point shooting (68-199, 34.2 percent) and minutes played (840). In 124 career games, he has scored 1,241 points (10.0) and grabbed 295 rebounds (2.4). Locke has shot 285-737 (38.7 percent) from three point territory. He will come to Providence as a graduate transfer and he will be eligible to play in 2022-23. Moore is a 6-10, 240-pound center. Moore played 24 games over two seasons at Indiana. He transferred to LaSalle and had to sit out the 2019-20 season. In two years at LaSalle, Moore averaged 9.9 points and 5.2 rebounds . He shot 49.1 percent (200-407) from the field and 70.1 percent (101-144) from the free-throw line. In 2021-22, he led LaSalle in scoring (12.9 ppg) and rebounding (6.1 rpg) as he started all 30 games for the Explorers. He scored a career-high 26 points versus Fordham on December 30, 2021. He registered five double-doubles, including a 21-point, 12-rebound effort versus VCU on January 8, 2022. He also recorded 83 blocks to establish the LaSalle single season record.
