[S1E4] Bloodthirsty

Based on the bestselling adventures titles, Uncharted will serve as an origin story for iconic treasure hunter Nathan Drake, who is played in live-action by Spider-Man's Tom Holland. Joining forces with his cigar-chomping mentor Sully (Mark Wahlberg) and fellow treasure hunter Chloe Frazer (Sophia Ali), Nathan sets out on a globe-trotting quest to find a fabled cache worth billions of dollars before it can be claimed by the movie's bloodthirsty antagonist (played by Antonio Banderas).

The senseless killing of Constable Lammon, McCoy, and Ralph could and should have been avoided at all costs. The writers look like bloodthirsty wanna-be murderers. Too much killing becomes unrealistic and needless.

All these unpredictable factors add complexity, tension and drama to their trek. Interestingly, the show has added another wildcard to the mix with Melanie Lynskey's Kathleen. As the leader of a Kansas City revolution, she's cutting an intimidating, bloodthirsty figure, but while fans may assume she's another spin on The Walking Dead's Negan or the Governor, Kathleen's much worse. 041b061a72
